Blue Ice Web Design Limited Terms & Conditions Of Business

Please read through the following carefully, if you have any problems then please contact one of our website designers.

1. Blue Ice Web Design Ltd reserve the right at any time to cancel a project if the content is deemed offensive or illegal. If you are unsure as to whether your site could be offensive or illegal then please contact us.

2. Blue Ice Web Design Ltd will only commence work on a project after receipt of 50% of the quoted project fee, Blue Ice Web Design will also require 25% on agreement of the design concept and the final 25% will be paid when the project is completed. Only when the balance is paid in full will the website then be switched to live mode. Please note if the total cost of the work is under £120 the amount will be due in full at the start of the project.

3. The deposit paid to Blue Ice Web Design will be used for design work, admin and any communication with Blue Ice Web Design.

4. If a client decides to cancel the project after payment of the 50% deposit then we will be unable to refund the full amount paid, amount refundable will be minus 20% of the amount paid.

5. Blue Ice Web Design Ltd are not obliged to set a deadline for the completion of any project, Blue Ice Web Design Ltd. can if asked give a rough estimate of completion date. Blue Ice Web Design Limited will endeavour to work to that date but can not guarantee completion by this deadline.

6. If at any time during the project we do not hear from the client despite a number of attempts over the course of a two week period we may cancel the project and refund a fair amount depending on work completed to that point. Please make sure all contact details if changed are submitted to us.

7. A domain name and web hosting will be registered for the client when the 50% deposit has been cleared.

8. It is the responsibility of the client to make sure that the domain name and hosting are renewed annually after the first year free, if no payment is made to us to renew the hosting or the client does not pay for the hosting directly themselves then Blue Ice Web Design Ltd can not be held liable if the site does not remain online and the client loses the domain name address.

9. Blue Ice Web Design Ltd reserve the right to change our prices at any time, all purchases made before the change will not be subjected to the new prices.

10. All images and other content submitted by the client to ourselves will be treated as the clients property and Blue Ice Web Design Limited can not be held liable if this content is not their true posession.

11. When asked to do search engine optimisation work on a website, Blue Ice Web Design do not guarantee any specific placement or high ranking with a search engine.

12. Blue Ice Web Design Limited take no responsibility for the content of the clients' website and in no way endorse or approve of the text or images of the site.

13. A client will only own the design and code of the website when the final payment is made, until then the code and design of the site excluding any images purchased or free software will be owned by Blue Ice Web Design Limited. The final payment signals the clients approval and happiness with the finished project.

14. All images purchased or created by Blue Ice Web Design are copyrighted and should only be used on the clients website, logo, banner etc. Any misuse of these images by the client is the sole reponsibility of the client and Blue Ice Web Design can not be held liable.

15. Blue Ice Web Design Ltd reserve the right to cancel a project at any time if a client becomes in any way abusive towards a member of our staff, we will refund a percentage depending on work carried out till that point.
